How to Reach Floor 3 in The Hollow: Elevator, Hub and Access

Getting to Floor 3 in The Hollow — the hub elevator, the floor's unlock order, the randomized maze on arrival, and what to know before descending to the Demonology floor.

Floor 3 is the Demonology layer of The Hollow's hub — and getting there is simple, with a few structural facts worth knowing before you descend.

The Hub and the Elevator

The Hollow's central hub hosts the elevator down through the theater's floors. Interact, choose your floor, descend. There is no cost and no key item for Floor 3 access itself — the gate is the event's day rotation and your own willingness to walk its maze.

The Unlock Order

The event unlocks content day by day — Floor 3's Demonology puzzle went live in the event's Day 3 era (the same window as the Demonology-game quest track). If the elevator does not offer Floor 3, the floor is not live in your session's day rotation yet; come back after the next event-day rollover.

On Arrival: The Randomized Maze

Step off the elevator and the maze is already rerandomized — every restart produces a new layout, new puzzle-room spawn, new gravestone values. This is the single most disorienting fact about the floor for returning players: yesterday's route is worthless. What persists is method knowledge: the room tell (ancient vibe, gravestones, center coffin), the hint poem's position (forward, right), and the Biter rules.

What to Do First

Three opening moves, in order: orient off the elevator (pick a wall and follow it — the wall-hug is your default), start the room hunt with Biter discipline, and when you find the puzzle room, read the hint poem before the gravestones. From first step to coffin, a clean run runs five to ten minutes; the full solution takes it from there.

The Secret Room Aside

Floor 3 has one more curiosity: community guides report a secret room on the floor that leads to the Dead Rails game — a crossover portal rather than puzzle content. If you spot an odd door during your search, it is worth the peek; just remember the Biter does not pause for sightseeing.
