Festering Felix and the Third Night Relic: The Floor 3 Reward Chain

The complete The Hollow Floor 3 reward chain — the Third Night Relic from the coffin, the escape run, and how it converts into the Festering Felix UGC head accessory and badge.

Solving the Grave Lock is half the job — the reward is delivered through a short chain afterward, and knowing it changes how you play the escape. Here is the full path from coffin to cosmetic.

Step One: The Third Night Relic

Open the coffin with a correct Grave Lock code and you receive the Third Night Relic — Floor 3's puzzle reward item. The relic is not the cosmetic itself; it is the key that the lobby exchange recognizes. Treat it as cargo: it survives with you, so the run home matters.

Step Two: The Escape Run

With the relic in hand, exit the puzzle room and traverse the maze to the elevator — with the Biter still patrolling. This is the run people lose: post-puzzle relief is exactly when the Biter catches players retracing casually. Reverse your route with intent, hug walls, and commit to the elevator the moment it is in sight. The Biter survival guide covers the movement rules.

Step Three: Descend and Claim

Ride the elevator down to the lobby and the Third Night Relic converts into your rewards:

  • Festering Felix — a free UGC head accessory (the event's Floor 3 cosmetic)
  • The Floor 3 badge — the permanent account marker that you solved the Demonology puzzle

Both are granted through the event's reward flow once the relic reaches the lobby — no additional purchase, no code redemption.

What Festering Felix Is

Festering Felix is the event's Day 3-era head cosmetic — a demonology-themed accessory that pairs naturally with the floor's monster aesthetic (the Biter's own fedora, the Biter Fedora, is a separate Demonology-game reward from the event's quest track — different item, different task). If you are collecting the event's full UGC set, Floor 3's contribution is Felix; the hub's daily UGC rotation covers the rest.

If the Reward Did Not Land

Three checks, in order: did you carry the relic all the way to the lobby (the conversion happens there, not at the coffin), are you on the correct event hub place (restarted sessions rerandomize progress), and did the coffin actually open (a failed code means no relic — back to the code method). With those confirmed, the badge and accessory follow the lobby exchange automatically.
